I'm doing a music assignment on Rock and Roll (the 50's) and I need to focus on a particular artist... who?

It doesn't have to be ONE artist; it can be a group or band. And for more chance of best answer, where on the internet can I find info? And in the next 17 minutes would be best.|||The obvious answer is Elvis Presley. But there have been so many movies and books written about him, what is there to discover? Don't get me wrong, I loved Elvis.





But seriously I would go with Fats Domino. This man is still alive and still rocking, and he is 80 years old. He lives in New Orleans, went through Hurricane Katrina, and lived to move back there, has a night club there and still plays in it.





This man has history, and his music is what the 50's was all about.
